So this isn't an actual story, but it was in an e-mail I got from a friend and I was encouraged by it!
"May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus,
that great Shepherd of the sheep,
equip you with everything good for doing his will,
and may he work in us what is pleasing to him,
through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen."
~Hebrews 13:20-21
God is a peaceful God because He does not worry and He encourages His children with peace. Jesus is our Shepherd (that we need), who leads, provides, cares, and protects us. God provides us with what we need to do His will. He equips us with good things and He will work in us when we are surrendered to Him. We will please God when we allow Him to work in us.
I just really liked the line about Him equipping us! He knows what we need to spread His word and He will give it to those who surrender to Him!
