UPDATE Below!!
Conrad had an idea for us to host a Wilderness Survival Day Camp for men & boys this fall. The event will take place on Duecks property south of Emo. The day will feature shelter building, survival techniques, and much more. They'll have a hot dog roast for lunch and the event will cost $10/ two people. Steve T will help host the event and share a bit about his experiences near the end of the day.
Contact Conrad if you'd like to help out in planning and organizing this. He'll need a crew of male helpers for this event! Feel free to share your ideas below in the comments section.
UPDATE -- June 10, 2010:
Conrad talked with Steve about a date for this event and it looks like it will be held on October 16th with no rain date. They also decided that they could change it to a Winter Survival Event at a later date if October 16th doesn't work.
Also the event is going to be opened up to both girls and boys so it's not going to be a "Men & Boys" event (but only when accompanied by an adult!).
Conrad is also checking into insurance for the event.
